Program Nurse
Vanessa Hosefros, a native of New Jersey, completed her schooling and training in both Pennsylvania and Vermont with a background in Therapeutic Recreation and licensure in massage therapy. She received her License in Practical Nursing in 2006, and is currently pursuing her BSN-RN from Indiana State University. Vanessa’s experience includes both acute and long-term medical care, vaccine management, and has also volunteered with a medical team serving local communities in the mountains of Honduras. On top of her time working with True North, she also works at an acute-care family clinic, and on the medical-surgical floor of a health and rehabilitation center. Vanessa has also performed medical services at a Correctional Facility in Vermont, which has helped her to understand and develop the connection between the social and emotional process, and medical treatment.
Vanessa has travelled extensively throughout the world, including spending time traveling throughout Europe with the Team USA under-18 soccer team. She has also spent time traveling through Central and South America, and has lived in the mountains of Colorado.
In her free time she enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, running, camping, dirt biking, kayaking and spending time with her husband and two beautiful children. She also keeps busy coaching her children’s soccer teams and is an active participant of the local schools and her community.
