Operations Manager
Originally from Southern Maine, Meghan received a Bachelor’s of Science in Ski Area Management from Lyndon State College in VT. Meghan recently added to her credentials by completing her Masters of Arts in Instructional Leadership from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX. Meghan brings nearly a decade of outdoor education and wilderness experience with her to True North.
While attending SHSU Meghan worked as the Graduate Assistant for the Outdoor Recreation Program. Her responsibility’s included leading a variety of outdoor trips and managing an indoor rock climbing wall. While at SHSU Meghan had the unique opportunity to accompany a group of researchers from the University to Botswana Africa as their camp manager, cave, and vertical rope expert.
Before venturing down to Texas, Meghan spent five years working for Endless Horizons in Virginia. At Endless Horizons she worked in a variety of roles, beginning as an adventure councilor, leading teenagers on a wide range of outdoor activities. At the end of her tenure with Endless Horizons, Meghan advanced to the role of Outdoor Learning Center Director, where she worked with job corps centers, cooperation’s, public & private school groups, summer camps, reunions, and non-profit organizations to create a comprehensive and unique outdoor experience.
Meghan is very happy to be back in New England, as an avid skier and lover of the sport, Meghan looks forward to exploring the Green Mountains.
